Chris was born and raised in France. At age 14 his parents gave him the gift of travel and he embarked on his first study abroad program, opening the door to a lifelong love of travel. He graduated from the University of Poitiers with a Bachelor of Science in Business, all the while working part-time as a first-class attendant for the prestigious Compagnie Internationale des Wagons-Lits. After graduating he returned to work in the hotel business in one of Europe’s largest hotel chains as Manager, and later in the Luxury Cruise Industry as Excursion Director.
Upon his relocation to Los Angeles, California, he created Magellan Study Abroad to share his expertise in providing quality travel experience. His established business relationships within the travel industry and direct professional experience in tourism allow him to build a customized, age and interest appropriate trip for each school. Students and teachers will experience the highest quality and best value at Magellan Study Abroad!
