Salamanca (pop. 180,000), located on the Tormes River about 2.5 hours west of Madrid is a quaint city with enchanted streets that twist and turn throughout. This charming town is untouched in its architectural purity. In central areas all recent buildings are constructed in Salamanca's best tradition. The city has been declared by UNESCO a World Heritage site in 1988 as and chosen as the European City of Culture for 2002.
La Coruna (pop. 245,000) is surrounded by the ocean and has been the point of departure for different peoples and cultures which for over 2,000 years have left their legacy of legends, myths and history in each corner of the town. It is the Capital city of Galicia, of Galicia, a region of vast green landscapes with a rich Celtic and Roman heritage which keeps, still today, a mystic and magic allure.

You have the option of travelling on the airline of your choice. Since we are based in Los Angeles, some of our local students may choose to travel with one of our teacher chaperones. In that case, we will provide you with the designated flights on which our chaperons will be travelling. Students from outside of Los Angeles may travel directly from their home airport and meet the Program Director and the rest of the group at the designated group destination point. There will be specific arrival and departure windows that must be respected for group pick-up. If your flight arrangements necessitate a personalized airport pick-up that does not coincide with the group pick-up, there may be an extra charge.
